BEST OF THE WEST 2024

   Register today for the 8th Annual “Best of the West” Tournament that will be held in Rocklin, CA on Tuesday – Thursday, November 19th – 21st, 2024.  A Teen Revival will be held on Tuesday night and a Formal Banquet on Wednesday night with Pastor Mike Johnson, Evangelist, Shasta Baptist Church in Redding, CA as the guest speaker. God has greatly used the preaching at these tournaments to encourage and stir the hearts of young people to reach their generation and we look forward to seeing what God will do again this year.


   The Tournament is filling up quickly! The cost is $90 per athlete, and $50 for non-athlete students.    There is also a $25 Fee for all Coaches and adults attending the Formal Banquet.


   Please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM no later than October 24, 2024 . Your payment is due no later than November 1, 2024 .


    Schools have the option to pay either by check (Mail to: Regency Baptist Academy, P.O. Box 544, Loomis CA 95650) or through Zelle (office@rbcloomis.org).


     After November 1st, a late fee of $20 per student will be added.


   The bracket schedule will be sent by November 1st so that teams can plan accordingly. The schedule will be based on the distance of the participating schools, league opponents, and competitive balance. All teams are guaranteed FOUR (4) games.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE: Registration starts at 9am and Award Ceremony will end at 4pm on Thursday. 


   Both Division 1 & Division 2 Basketball & Volleyball Teams can register to play in the Tournament. Each team is guaranteed 4 games.


   The only charge for Coaches/Staff is the $25 Banquet Ticket. This can be purchased online when registering. A complimentary breakfast buffet will be available for all Coaches & Pastors at the gym each morning, as well as coffee, drinks & snacks throughout the day.


   The $90 Registration Fee ($110 if payment is made after November 1st) for each player covers the following:

  • Tuesday Dinner
  • Wednesday Banquet & Dinner
  • Tournament T-Shirt
  • Player Fee for Participating in Tournament


   Parents of players are welcome to attend the Banquet as well! Tickets can be purchased when registering or in-person during the Tournament. Each senior will be honored and recognized during our Banquet. We hope many parents are able to attend.


   Any additional attendees at the Tournament outside of players & coaches will need to pay a gym entry fee upon arrival. The cost of gym entry for the entire week is $10. 


   Many schools in the past have brought additional students who do not play on a team so they can participate in the Teen Revival, Banquet and cheer on their school! We look at our Tournament as more than a competition and strive to place an emphasis on the PREACHING! We hope many students are able to attend. For these students, a registration fee of $50 can be paid to cover:

  • Tuesday Dinner
  • Wednesday Banquet & Dinner
  • Tournament T-Shirt
  • Gym Entry for the Week
